Paul Engle joined The Shipyard Group's parent company in 1993, learned the shipyard business, and transformed the company to provide a full range of services to yacht owners and their captains. For the next fifteen years, Paul pursued a distinguished career as a Captain of motor yachts, including commanding the Forbes' corporate yacht, M/Y Highlander. Tucker Fallon Sales Broker
tucker@theshipyardgroup.com
www.yachtbrokerguy.com

Tucker Fallon likes to tell all his clients that he is not some guy who used to sell refrigerators – he’s had his captain’s license since 1973.

Growing up in Scituate, MA, Tucker started a boat cleaning service at age 14 to pay for gas for his own boat.  After attending Boston College with a major in marketing, and having some land-based jobs, his love of the water brought him back to the marine industry. Tucker was captain on many commercial vessels, including passenger, oceanographic research, and oil exploration vessels, and then on to private yachts.

In between some of his sea time, Tucker got involved in boat sales, starting full-time in 1984, working in new boat sales and brokerage.  After returning to Florida in 1992, he started a business specializing in instruction for boat owners and continues to offer this service to his clients and their crews.

Tucker joined The Shipyard Group in 2006 after years of brokerage sales in Connecticut and South Florida, and he feels that his experience in both yacht sales and as a captain can help both buyers and sellers.  His approach to yacht sales is as a consultant and a broker with extensive knowledge who can find a boat that fits a clients needs, rather than trying to sell whatever boat is at the dock that week.  When listing a yacht for a seller, Tucker can advise what needs to be done to get the boat in good condition for a sale and offer a full commitment to achieve the sale.
