Trawler Fest move in day. The docks are packed ready for the show. Solomons is the largest Trawler Fest event and this year seems twice as large as last year. It is unlike any boat show that you have ever seen. Casual, personal and so very informative. People from all over the country attend to embrace the cruising lifestyle. It is the fastest growing segment of the boating industry.

PRIME TIME secure in her spot at the boat show.
PRIME TIME settled in her berth at the Calvert Marina for Trawler Fest. We requested a "side to" slip so that prospective buyers could see her beautiful yet massive lines.
A great crowd on the first day of the show filled the docks and tents. Passagemaker did a wonderful job!
The exhibitor tents were full of quality companies promoting everything from Naiad Stabilizers to The Waterway Guide. Exhibitors in the tents more than doubled from last years Trawler Fest
Trawler Fest offers a women's only boat handling course at their Passage Maker University. Instruction aims to make women feel comfortable around vessels while gaining insight through peers and experts. This very important part of Trawler Fest is taught by SEA SENSE, a female owned company from St.Petersburg, Florida that started 18 years ago. Their contribution is invaluable.
Bob Starr takes the helm of Prime Time at sunrise departing Solomons.
A beautiful sunrise on the Chesapeake Bay as we left Solomons and headed home. It was the beginning of a perfect day on the Chesapeake.
